Line Items and Products

Every invoice needs at least one line item.

Adding a line item​

For each item, set:

  • Description - What you're charging for
  • Quantity - How many (supports decimals like 1.5 hours)
  • Unit price - Price per unit
  • Tax rate - Optional tax to apply

Products​

If you add the same items often, save them as products. Go to Invoices > Products to manage your library. When adding a line item, search your products and add with one click. You can still edit after adding.

Reordering​

Drag and drop line items to reorder them.

Display customization​

You can rename the column labels (Item, Qty, Price, Amount) and hide columns you don't need. These defaults are set in Invoice Settings and can be adjusted per invoice.
