Invoice Settings

Go to Invoices > Settings.

Invoice numbering

Set up your numbering format the first time you create an invoice:

  • Prefix - Text before the number (like "INV")
  • Starting number - Where to start counting
  • Padding - How many digits (3 = "INV-001")
  • Receipt prefix - Same idea for receipts (like "RCT")

This is a one-time setup. Choose carefully since it can't be changed later.

Payment terms

Set your default terms (due on receipt, net 15, net 30, net 60). Pre-fills on new invoices, but can be changed per invoice.

Automatic reminders

  • Enable/disable auto-reminders
  • Days before due date to send a reminder (default: 3)
  • Days after due date to send an overdue nudge (default: 7)

Display defaults

Column labels

Rename the column headers (Item, Qty, Price, Amount).

Show/hide columns

Hide units, price, or description columns.

Document sections

Toggle visibility of: business registration number, business address, business contact info, client address.

These are defaults for new invoices. Each invoice keeps its own settings.

Default text

Pre-fill values for notes, terms, and footer that appear on every new invoice.

Bank details

Add your bank info for clients paying by transfer:

  • Bank name and account holder name
  • Account number and routing code (securely stored)
  • Toggle whether bank details show on invoices

Stripe

See your Stripe connection status and connect or disconnect. Full details at Stripe integration.
