Profile Settings

Go to Settings > Profile to manage your personal details. These show up across your account, on invoices, contracts, booking pages, and anywhere clients interact with you.

Avatar

Your profile photo appears on your booking page, client portal, and emails. To upload one, click the avatar area and choose an image from your device. The file must be under 5 MB. Once uploaded, your new photo replaces the previous one right away.

Name

This is the name clients see on invoices, contracts, and emails. It can be your full name or a display name you prefer.

Username

Your username is part of your public URL, like yourname.corehue.co. It shows up in gallery links, booking pages, and contract URLs, so pick something clean and easy to remember.

As you type, CoreHue checks in real time whether the username is available. You will see a green checkmark if it is free, or a warning if someone else already has it. No need to click a button. Just type and the app tells you instantly.

Email

Your email address is shown here along with its verification status. If your email is verified, you will see a confirmation badge. If it has not been verified yet, there is an option to resend the verification email. Verifying your email makes sure you receive important notifications and keeps your account secure.

Creative type

Choose what best describes your work: photographer, videographer, or content creator. This is not just a label. Your choice changes how things are named throughout the app.

For example, if you pick Photographer, certain sections are called "Galleries." If you pick Videographer, those same sections are called "Projects." And if you go with Content Creator, they become "Deliverables." The features are the same, but the language adjusts to match your world.

You can change this at any time, and the labels update across your account.

Specializations

Once you have chosen a creative type, a multi-select list appears with specializations that match it. A photographer might see options like weddings, portraits, events, and product. A videographer might see commercial, documentary, music video, and so on.

Pick as many as apply. These help describe your work on your booking page and public profile.

Country and timezone

Select your country from the dropdown. Your timezone is set separately and is used for things like scheduling, availability windows, and the greeting message clients see on your booking page. If you travel or relocate, update your timezone so everything stays accurate.

Default currency

This is the main currency you use for invoices and payments. You set it once during your initial setup.

Important: Your default currency is locked after it is first set. It cannot be changed later. The reason is that your financial records, ledger entries, and summary stats all rely on a consistent base currency. Changing it after transactions have been recorded would create mismatches in your reports.

If you work with clients in other countries, you can still add additional currencies for invoicing. But the default stays fixed as your home currency.

Saving your changes

When you edit anything on this page, a save bar appears at the bottom of the screen. It only shows up when there are unsaved changes. Click Save to apply your updates, or navigate away to discard them. The bar disappears once everything is saved.
