Profile

About you personally, as opposed to your business. Changes here ride a save bar at the bottom of the page, so nothing is written until you save.

Profile photo​

Click the circle to upload one. The help text says it plainly: Click to upload. JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, or GIF under 5MB. It's the picture in the top-right corner, and it can show on your booking page. Worth having, since people booking a photographer are partly booking a person.

The photo uploads on its own rather than waiting for the save bar.

Full name​

Your name as it appears in CoreHue, and the name in the greeting on Home.

Email​

Shown here, with a tick when it's verified. You can't edit it. To change it you contact support, which Settings → Account says beside your address. That's deliberate. Changing the email address is the classic move of someone who has taken over an account.

Your CoreHue URL​

This is your username, and it's the base of every public web address you have:

yourname.corehue.co

Every gallery, booking page and invoice link is built on it. CoreHue checks as you type and shows Available or Already taken.

Changing it breaks every link you've already sent. Galleries clients have bookmarked, invoices sitting in inboxes, the booking link in your Instagram bio. All of it. CoreHue warns you before you save.

Take the warning seriously: if you must change it, do it when nothing is live, and expect to resend links.

The rules: 3 to 30 characters, lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, not starting or ending with a hyphen. Some names are reserved.

Country and timezone​

Country sets how your dates, times and numbers are written. Timezone is what every booking time is shown in, and it's set from your country during setup. Change it if you've moved, or if your country picked the wrong one.

This is your personal country, separate from the business address under Business.

Default currency​

Used for pricing, reports, documents and dashboard totals.

Until you've set it, a Set your default currency prompt sits here, and nothing can be priced or invoiced. Once set, the field shows a padlock, because it cannot be changed. The confirmation tells you that before you commit.

On Core you bill in that one currency. On Pro you can invoice in others alongside it, but the default stays fixed either way. See Currencies and countries.

Appearance​

Choose System, Light or Dark for how CoreHue looks to you. The same three options sit under Appearance in the avatar menu, so you can switch without opening Settings.

System follows your device, so it goes dark in the evening if your phone or laptop does.

Two things worth knowing:

  • It's per browser. Choosing Dark on your laptop doesn't make CoreHue dark on your phone, and a browser that has never chosen starts on Light.
  • It's only your view of the dashboard, including the gallery editor and the sign-in screens. It doesn't change what clients see. Their pages have their own look, set under your client pages, and galleries have their own themes.
