Switching to CoreHue

Moving over from another tool? Here's what CoreHue covers and how to make the switch smooth.

What CoreHue replaces

CoreHue brings several tools together in one place:

Getting set up

1. Create your account at corehue.co and finish the quick setup.
2. Add your business details: name, logo, and contact info in Settings → Business info.
3. Create your booking services for the sessions you offer. See Services.
4. Set your availability in Bookings → Availability.
5. Connect your tools: Google Calendar, Zoom, and Stripe for online payments.
6. Create your first gallery, upload photos, design it, and share it with a client.
7. Send your first invoice and contract. Start from your contract templates and create an invoice.

Bringing over your galleries

There isn't an automatic import from other gallery platforms yet, so:

1. Download your photos from your current platform.
2. Create a new gallery in CoreHue and upload them.
3. Set up your theme, chapters, and access settings.
4. Share the new link.

Tip: you don't have to move everything at once. Start using CoreHue for new work and bring older galleries over as you need them.

Bringing over your clients

You can add clients one at a time, but you often won't need to, CoreHue creates a client automatically the first time someone books with you, sends an inquiry, or accepts a proposal.

Bringing over your contract templates

1. Copy the text from your existing contracts.
2. Create new contract templates in CoreHue.
3. Add variables so client and booking details fill in automatically.

CoreHue also sets you up with a handful of ready-made contract templates you can adapt.

Active projects

For clients with work already in progress, you have two options:

• Finish them on your current platform, and start new work in CoreHue.
• Recreate them in CoreHue. Just note that payment history from another platform won't come across.
