Questionnaires

Questionnaires are reusable forms you send to clients to collect briefs, preferences, and the little details you need before or after a shoot.

Build a form once, then send it to as many clients as you like.

Two things called "questionnaire"

It helps to keep two ideas separate:

  • A questionnaire is the reusable form, the questions you've put together. These live under Templates → Questionnaires.
  • A questionnaire request is one you've actually sent to a client. These live under Documents → Questionnaires, where you can track them and read the answers.

So you build and edit the form in Templates, send it from there, and watch the responses come back in Documents.

What you can do

  • Build a form: Add questions, reorder them, and mark the ones clients must answer.
  • Pick from many field types: Short text, choices, dates, file uploads, and more.
  • Show questions only when they're relevant: Reveal a follow-up question based on an earlier answer.
  • Send it: By email or a shareable link, to a client, an inquiry, or a booking.
  • Automate it: Attach a form to a booking service or a proposal so it goes out on its own.
  • Read the answers: See responses and download any files clients uploaded.

Starter questionnaires

Every new account comes with a set of starter questionnaires, so you're not staring at a blank page. You'll always get Project Inquiry and Session Feedback, plus a few more based on what you photograph, for example Wedding Day Details, Portrait Session Details, Engagement, Family, Newborn, Event Details, Commercial Photography Brief, or Boudoir.

Use them as they are, tweak them to fit, or build your own from scratch.
