Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the things people ask most.
General
What is CoreHue?
CoreHue is an all-in-one platform for photographers, videographers, and content creators. It brings together client galleries, bookings, proposals, invoices, contracts, questionnaires, and integrations so you can run your creative business from one place.
Who is CoreHue for?
Anyone running a creative business: wedding photographers, portrait and commercial photographers, videographers, and content creators. Whether you're just starting out or you've been in the game for years.
How much does CoreHue cost?
Every new account starts with a 14-day free trial so you can try everything before committing. After the trial, you choose a plan that fits your business. See Billing for details.
Can I use CoreHue on my phone?
Yes. CoreHue works in any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or phone. The interface adapts to your screen size.
Galleries
How many photos can I upload to a gallery?
There's no limit on the number of photos per gallery. Upload as many as you need.
What file formats are supported?
JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, HEIF, TIFF, and GIF. RAW files are not supported. Export to JPEG first.
Can clients download photos?
Yes, if you turn on downloads. You control which sizes are available and can set a PIN for extra security.
Can I password-protect a gallery?
Yes. You can set a gallery password, a separate client password, or both. See Sharing and Access.
Bookings
How do clients book with me?
You create booking services and share your booking page link. Clients visit the page, pick a service, choose a date and time, and submit their booking. See Bookings Overview.
Can clients book instantly or do I have to approve each one?
Both. Use Inquiry mode if you want to review first, or Self-service mode for instant booking. See Booking Services.
Does CoreHue sync with my calendar?
Yes. Connect Google Calendar and your bookings sync automatically. Busy events on your calendar block availability on your booking page. See Google Calendar.
What are service packages?
Packages let you offer structured pricing tiers within a service (like "Essential," "Classic," and "Premium"). Clients can compare options and pick the one that works for them. See Booking Services.
Proposals
What is a proposal?
A proposal bundles your pricing, an optional contract, and an optional questionnaire into one shareable link. Clients can review your offer, make selections from your options, sign the contract, fill out the form, and pay, all in one place. See Proposals Overview.
Can clients choose which items they want?
Yes. You can set line items as included, optional add-ons, or alternatives. Clients pick from the options you offer, and the total updates in real time based on their selections.
What is an offer guide?
An offer guide is a public page you can share with a lead before sending a formal proposal. It shows your service packages so the lead can browse and express interest. Their preferences then feed into the proposal you build. See Leads and Inquiries.
Invoices & Payments
How do clients pay?
Two ways: online through Stripe (credit/debit card) or manually (cash, check, bank transfer that you record yourself). See Invoices Overview.
What currencies are supported?
All major currencies. Each invoice uses a single currency, and CoreHue handles formatting for each one automatically.
Is there a fee for online payments?
Yes. Stripe charges its standard processing fee and CoreHue has a small platform fee. Both are deducted from your payout, not charged to the client.
Contracts
How do e-signatures work?
You send a contract, the client signs it online (by drawing, typing, or uploading their signature), then you counter-sign. Both parties get a completed copy. See Contracts Overview.
Are the signatures legally binding?
Yes. Each signature captures the signer's name, date, and location. Completed contracts include a security fingerprint that makes any tampering detectable.
Can clients comment on contract terms?
Yes. Clients can leave threaded comments on specific parts of the contract before signing. You reply from your dashboard, and threads can be resolved once you agree. See Sending and Signing.
Custom Domains
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. You can connect your own domain (like www.yourname.com) so all your public pages use your brand. See Custom Domains.
What changes when I connect a custom domain?
All new links CoreHue generates (emails, share buttons, copied URLs) will use your custom domain. Your galleries, booking pages, invoices, contracts, proposals, and questionnaires are all accessible at your domain.
Do my old corehue.co links still work?
Yes. Links using yourname.corehue.co continue to work. Nothing breaks.
Integrations
What integrations are available?
Google Calendar (booking sync), Zoom (auto-meeting links), and Stripe (online payments). See Integrations.
Can I use my existing Stripe account?
Yes. CoreHue uses Stripe Connect, which links to your existing Stripe account (or creates a new one if you don't have one).
Account
Can I change my username?
Yes, from Settings > Profile. Your username is part of your public URL, so keep that in mind.
Can I change my default currency?
No. The default currency is locked after initial setup. You can add additional currencies for invoicing in multiple currencies, but the default stays fixed.
How do I delete my account?
Go to Settings > Account and follow the deletion process. There is a 30-day grace period before anything is permanently removed.
