Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the things people ask most.
General
What is CoreHue?
CoreHue is one place to run your photography business: client galleries, a booking page, clients, invoices and payments, proposals, contracts, and questionnaires. Instead of stitching together several apps, you get them all under one roof.
How much does CoreHue cost?
Every account starts with a 14-day free trial, no card required. After that you choose a plan that fits your business. See Plans and free trial for the details.
Can I use CoreHue on my phone?
Yes. CoreHue works in any modern browser on desktop, tablet, or phone, and adjusts to your screen.
Is there a website builder?
Your public profile and portfolio are available now. They're already live, shareable, and can use your own custom domain. A full website builder is coming soon. Until it lands, your public profile, galleries, and booking page already give clients a branded home. See Sharing and access.
Galleries
How many photos can I upload to a gallery?
There's no per-gallery limit. Your photos count toward your plan's storage, 100 GB on Core and 1 TB on Pro.
What file formats can I upload?
JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, HEIF, TIFF, and GIF. RAW files aren't supported, so export to JPEG first. Each photo can be up to 50 MB.
Can clients download photos?
Yes, if you turn on downloads. You choose the sizes, and you can require a PIN. See Downloads.
Can I password-protect a gallery?
Yes. You can set a gallery password, give your client a separate private login, or both. See Sharing and access.
Bookings
How do clients book with me?
You create booking services and share your booking page link. Clients pick a service and either book a time or send an inquiry. See Bookings overview.
Can clients book instantly, or do I approve each one?
Both. Use Inquiry mode to review first, or Self-service mode for instant booking.
Does CoreHue sync with my calendar?
Yes. Connect Google Calendar and your bookings sync automatically. Busy events on your calendar can block times on your booking page.
What's a pricing guide?
A pricing guide is a client-facing pricing page you can share with someone who inquires, before you send a formal proposal. Their response feeds right into the proposal you build. See Pricing guides.
Proposals & contracts
What is a proposal?
A proposal bundles your pricing, an optional contract, and an optional questionnaire into one link. Clients review your offer, make any choices you allow, sign, and pay, all in one place. See Proposals overview.
How do e-signatures work?
You send a contract, the client signs online (by drawing, typing, or uploading their signature), and you counter-sign. Both of you get a completed copy. See Sending and signing.
Can clients comment on contract terms?
Yes. Before signing, a client can highlight a clause and leave a comment. You reply from your dashboard and resolve the thread once you've sorted it out. See Comments.
Invoices & payments
How do clients pay?
Two ways: online by card (through Stripe), or offline by cash, check, or bank transfer that you record yourself. See Getting paid online.
What currencies can I use?
Each invoice uses one currency. On Core you bill in your one default currency; upgrade to Pro to bill in multiple currencies. Your default currency is set once and stays fixed.
Is there a fee for online payments?
Yes. Stripe charges its standard processing fee, and CoreHue adds a small platform fee. Both come out of your payout, not charged on top to your client.
Account
Can I change my username?
Yes, in Settings → Profile. Your username is part of your public links, so older links you've shared will stop working after you change it.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes. Connect a custom domain so your public pages use your brand. Your yourname.corehue.co links keep working too.
How do I delete my account?
From Settings, follow the deletion steps. There's a 30-day grace period before anything is permanently removed, and you can change your mind in that window. See Account and data.
