Contract templates
Contract templates are reusable contract bodies you build once and send to any client. Each one can include variables (placeholders) and fields your client fills in, like signatures and initials.
You'll find them under Templates → Contracts, shown as cards with Edit and Delete on each.
Starter templates
New accounts come with 6 ready-made contract templates to get you going:
- Wedding Photography Contract
- Portrait Session Contract
- Event Photography Contract
- Commercial Photography Contract
- Second Shooter Agreement
- Elopement Photography Contract
Each one comes with full legal text and an initials field. Use them as they are, or edit them to match how you work.
The starter wording is a helpful starting point, not legal advice. Read each contract carefully and adjust it for your business and your region before sending.
Create a template
There are two ways to make one:
- From Templates → Contracts, click Create template and build it from scratch.
- From an existing contract, choose Save as template to turn it into a reusable one.
To learn how variables and client fields work, see Creating contracts.
Edit a template
Click Edit on any template card to change its wording or fields.
Remember: editing a template doesn't change contracts you've already sent. Those are snapshots and stay exactly as the client received them.
Use a template
When it's time to send, choose Create contract from template. CoreHue makes a fresh contract from your template that you can tweak for that client, then send for signing.
For the full sending and signing flow, see Contracts.
