Your client pages

Under Settings → Business, the Client pages section controls how everything a client opens looks.

It covers your booking page and individual service pages, the inquiry form, the booking confirmation page, invoices, proposals, questionnaires and intake forms. Galleries are separate: each gallery has its own theme.

Most people never open this, which is a shame. It's the difference between client pages that look like yours and client pages that look like software.

Theme

Three to choose from. Each is a genuinely different layout, not just a change of colour.

Atelier. The default. Content on the left with the decision held in a column on the right. A good general choice.

Ledger. One centered sheet, like a document on a desk, with figures set in a typewriter-style face. Suits invoices and anything with a lot of numbers.

Classic. A photograph across the top with the document lifting into it. The most visual of the three, and the obvious pick if your work should be the first thing seen.

Appearance

Light or Dark.

Light is the default and safest. Dark can look excellent for certain work, but check your logo against it, which is what the dark logo slot is for.

This is separate from the Light and Dark you choose for your own dashboard. This one is what clients see.

Header shows

What appears at the top of the page:

  • Your logo, falling back to your business name if you haven't uploaded one
  • Business name, even if you have a logo
  • Logo and business name together, which suits a logo that doesn't include your name

If your logo already includes your name, showing both duplicates it.

This appears only with the Classic theme, the one with a photograph across the top. The banner sits behind your name at the top of the page.

Click the banner, or the Change label on it, to open the picker. Four presets are provided: Forest ridge, Canopy, Mountain lake and Coast. Add your own is the better option: a landscape image, up to 10 MB. Choose Select to commit, then save the page.

Once you've uploaded one, the picker keeps Replace and Remove beside it.

Using your own photograph here is the single highest-impact change on this page. It turns a generic document into an example of what you do.

Where it doesn't apply

Galleries have their own per-gallery themes. See Design and themes.

PDFs and emails have their own fixed layouts. A PDF gets filed for years and passed on to other people, so it looks the same whatever you pick this month.

Worth doing

Ten minutes here changes every page a client ever opens. Pick a theme, decide light or dark, put one of your own photographs in the banner if you use Classic, and check the result on a phone.
