Security
The Security tab is where you keep your account safe. Open it from Settings → Security.
For anything sensitive here, CoreHue confirms it's really you by emailing a 6-digit code to enter.
Password
Depending on how you signed up, you'll see either Set password (if you don't have one yet) or Change.
To set or change it, you'll enter:
- Your current password, if you have one
- A new password, at least 10 characters
- The new password again, to confirm
Then CoreHue emails you a 6-digit code to finish. Enter it and your password is updated.
Connect or disconnect Google
Under Connected accounts, you can link your Google account so you can sign in with Google.
To unlink it, click Disconnect Google and confirm with the emailed code.
If Google is your only way to sign in, the disconnect option stays unavailable until you've set a password. That way you'll always have a way back into your account.
Log out everywhere
Under Active sessions, click Log out everywhere to sign out of your account on other devices and browsers. You stay signed in here.
This is handy if you used a shared or public computer, or you're just not sure where you're still logged in.
Signing in from a new device
When you sign in from a device CoreHue hasn't seen before, it emails you a 6-digit code to enter before letting you in. This happens at sign-in, not in Settings, and it's an extra check that it's really you.
Delete your account
The option to delete your account lives at the bottom of this tab. You'll have 30 days to restore your account before anything is permanent. See Account & data for exactly what happens.
