Sharing a questionnaire
When a form is ready, you send it from Templates → Questionnaires. Open the questionnaire and click Send.
You need a public username set before you can share a questionnaire, that's what gives your form its own web address. You can set one in your profile.
Who it's for
First, choose who you're sending to under For:
- Client: someone already in your client list. (Don't have them yet? Use the inline Add client to create one on the spot.)
- Inquiry: someone who reached out through your booking page. See Leads and inquiries.
- Booking: a confirmed booking.
Then pick the exact record from the list.
Options before you send
- Expiry Date: optional. After this date, the form closes and the client can't fill it in anymore.
- Allow edits after submit: let the client come back and change their answers after they've submitted.
Two ways to deliver it
Send by email
This opens a short composer:
- To, Cc, and Bcc fields.
- A ready-made subject line with the questionnaire's title and your business name, which you can edit.
- An option to send a copy to yourself.
To send by email, the contact needs an email address on file.
Copy a link
This creates the request and gives you a link to share however you like, a text, a chat message, your own email. CoreHue asks Mark as sent? so your tracking stays accurate.
What your client sees
Your client opens the link with no login needed. They'll see:
- Your branding at the top.
- A status, Action needed, Submitted, Expired, or Unavailable.
- The form itself, with required questions clearly marked.
- A Submit button, with a quick confirm before it goes through.
Once submitted, the page becomes read-only with a Responses received banner and a Print button. If you turned on Allow edits after submit, they'll also see an Edit Responses button to update their answers.
Next steps
- Track replies and read answers in Viewing responses.
