Sending Proposals
Once your proposal is ready, it's time to share it with the client.
Before you send
CoreHue checks that everything is in order:
- At least one line item is included
- The client has a name and email
- If payment is enabled, the total is greater than zero
- If online payment is enabled, Stripe is connected for that currency
- If a contract is included, the template has content and all required variables can be filled in
- If auto-convert is on, an event date is set
If anything is missing, you'll see exactly what needs fixing.
Two ways to send
By email
Click Send and customize:
- To - Client's email (pre-filled)
- CC / BCC - Additional recipients
- Subject - Customizable email subject
- Message - A personal note in the email
- Send copy to self
- Expiry date - Optional deadline
By link
Choose Copy Link to get a shareable URL you can send through any channel (text, DM, etc.).
What happens when you send
Behind the scenes, CoreHue gets everything ready:
- The proposal goes live at its public URL
- If you included a contract, it's created with all variables filled in and sent alongside the proposal
- If you included a questionnaire, a form is created and linked to the proposal
- If you included payment collection, an invoice is created with your line items
- If the proposal came from an inquiry, the inquiry status updates to "Proposal sent"
All of these are bundled into the one proposal link the client receives.
Resending and reminders
For sent proposals, you can:
- Resend the email with a new message
- Send a reminder to nudge the client before the deadline
- Copy the link to share again through another channel
