What Clients See

When a client opens the proposal link, they get a clean, professional page with everything they need to review and accept your offer.

The proposal page

The client sees:

  1. Your personal message at the top
  2. Event details (date, time, location)
  3. Your pricing breakdown showing:
    • Featured item (highlighted at the top if you set one)
    • Included items (the base offering)
    • Optional add-ons (clearly marked as optional)
    • Alternative choices (grouped together)
  4. The total with any taxes

Steps to accept

The page shows a clear journey with checkmarks:

  1. Review the offer - Read through the pricing and details
  2. Sign the agreement - If a contract is included, they need to sign it first
  3. Complete the questionnaire - If a form is included, they need to fill it out
  4. Make payment - If payment is required, they need to pay (online or manually)
  5. Accept - Once all steps are done, they click Accept

Steps that aren't included (no contract, no questionnaire, no payment) are skipped automatically. If you only included pricing, the client just reviews and accepts.

Acceptance blockers

The Accept button stays inactive until all required steps are completed. The page clearly shows what's still needed:

  • "Sign the contract"
  • "Complete the questionnaire"
  • "Complete the required payment"

Declining

Clients can also decline the proposal with an optional reason. You'll get a notification with their feedback.

After acceptance

Once accepted:

  • You get a notification
  • The invoice is finalized
  • The contract is recorded as signed (if included)
  • The questionnaire responses are saved (if included)
  • A booking may be created automatically (depending on your settings)
  • The client sees a confirmation that they've accepted

Expiry

If the proposal has a deadline and it passes, the client sees a message that the offer has expired and can no longer be accepted.
