What Clients See

When a client opens the proposal link, they get a clean, professional page with everything they need to review, customize, and accept your offer.

The proposal page

The client sees:

  1. Your personal message at the top
  2. Event details (date, time, location)
  3. Your pricing breakdown with buyer choice:
    • Featured item (highlighted at the top if you set one)
    • Included items (the base offering, always part of the total)
    • Optional add-ons (the client can select which ones they want)
    • Alternative choices (grouped together so the client picks their preferred option)
  4. The total updates in real time as the client makes their selections

Buyer choice

This is what makes CoreHue proposals powerful. Instead of a fixed quote, clients can customize their package:

  • Add-ons have checkboxes the client can toggle on or off
  • Alternatives are grouped so the client picks one from each group
  • Included items are always part of the deal

The total adjusts automatically as the client selects different options. They see exactly what they're getting and what it costs.

Steps to accept

The page shows a clear journey with checkmarks:

  1. Review the offer - Browse pricing, make selections from add-ons and alternatives
  2. Sign the agreement - If a contract is included, they review and sign it
  3. Complete the questionnaire - If a form is included, they fill it out
  4. Make payment - If payment is required, they pay online or note a manual payment
  5. Accept - Once all steps are done, they click Accept

Steps that aren't included (no contract, no questionnaire, no payment) are skipped automatically. If you only included pricing, the client just reviews, makes their selections, and accepts.

Acceptance blockers

The Accept button stays inactive until all required steps are completed. The page clearly shows what's still needed:

  • "Sign the contract"
  • "Complete the questionnaire"
  • "Complete the required payment"

Declining

Clients can also decline the proposal with an optional reason. You'll get a notification with their feedback.

After acceptance

Once accepted:

  • You get a notification
  • The client's selections are saved - exactly which items they chose, including add-ons and alternatives
  • The invoice is finalized based on their actual selections (not the full menu)
  • The contract is recorded as signed (if included)
  • The questionnaire responses are saved (if included)
  • A booking may be created automatically (depending on your settings)
  • The client sees a confirmation that they've accepted

Expiry

If the proposal has a deadline and it passes, the client sees a message that the offer has expired and can no longer be accepted.
