Products
Products & Services is your catalog of reusable line items. Save the things you charge for once, then drop them onto any invoice instead of retyping them.
Add a product
Go to Products and add a new one. Each product has:
- Name: what the service or item is called. Required.
- Description: extra detail that appears under the name. Optional.
- Price: the standard price. Optional too, leave it blank for anything you quote case by case.
Prices are shown in your default currency.
Use a product on an invoice
While building an invoice, open the product picker on a line item and choose one. CoreHue fills in:
- the name,
- the description: only if you haven't already typed one,
- the price.
If the invoice is in a different currency from your default, the price is converted as it's added. You can still adjust anything after it lands on the invoice.
Save your most common packages and add-ons as products. A few minutes now saves you typing on every invoice later.
Editing and deleting
Change a product's details anytime, and the new version is used on future invoices.
Deleting a product doesn't touch invoices that already used it, those line items stay exactly as you billed them.
