Your Home screen

Home is the first thing you see when you sign in. It's built to answer two questions in about five seconds: what's happening this week, and what's waiting on me.

Everything on it comes from your own work. An empty section means there's genuinely nothing there.

The greeting

Top of the page: Good morning, Good afternoon or Good evening, and your first name.

Underneath sits one short line that picks whichever fact matters most right now:

  • how many bookings you have this week
  • how much money came in this week
  • how many new inquiries arrived this week
  • or just today's date, if it's a quiet week

It's one line on purpose. If nothing much is happening, it says so and gets out of your way.

Getting started

If you're new, a Getting started card sits near the top, based on what you chose to do first during setup. It carries a heading for your track, such as Deliver your first client gallery, a line of context, a progress bar and a percentage, and expands to the steps.

If you choseThe steps
Deliver photos to a clientCreate a client gallery → Upload photos → Share the gallery
Let clients inquire or bookCreate and publish a service → Turn on your booking page → Share your booking page
Send a proposal to a clientCreate a proposal → Add pricing → Send the proposal
Send an invoice to a clientSet your default currency → Choose how clients can pay → Create an invoice → Send the invoice

Each step is a button that takes you to the right screen. Finished steps show a tick and Done.

Work down the list and you'll have done one complete, real thing: a delivered gallery, a working booking page, a sent invoice.

Click the card's header to collapse it if you'd rather it wasn't in the way. Once every step is done it goes for good. The track itself is fixed at setup, so there's no way to switch to a different one or dismiss the card early.

Billing notices

When something about your subscription needs you, a notice sits under the greeting: a trial ending, a failed renewal payment, a plan change scheduled. It carries the one action that resolves it. There's a matching note in the header, to the left of the notifications bell. It reads Trial · 6 days left while a trial is running, and switches to Trial ends in 3 days over the last three days.

This week

A row of the next seven days, starting with today. Select a day to see what's booked on it.

Only confirmed bookings appear, so anything still pending won't show here. Each entry shows the booking number, what it is, who it's for and the time. Select one to open the full booking. A booking over several days appears once, on its start date, with its dates alongside.

If nothing's booked all week, CoreHue tells you when your next booking actually is, so an empty week doesn't read as an empty diary. If a later day this week is busy, the empty day points at it instead.

View calendar sits at the top right for anything beyond seven days.

Needs attention

The most important section, and the one to read first. These are things that have stalled and need you specifically.

What it showsWhy it's there
Overdue invoicesPast their due date and still unpaid, with the amount outstanding
Contracts waiting on youYour client has signed; it's waiting on your counter-signature
Payments awaiting reviewA client says they've paid and uploaded evidence, approve or reject it
Inquiries awaiting a responseSomeone asked about working with you and hasn't heard back, with how long the oldest has waited

Each row shows a count and takes you straight to the list.

Inquiries awaiting a response are usually the most valuable thing here. Someone asked about working with you and is sitting in silence, quite possibly asking someone else at the same time.

If this section is missing entirely, nothing needs you. That's the goal.

Quick actions

Four shortcuts to the things you do most: New booking, New invoice, New gallery and New proposal.

Share booking page sits beside the heading, and opens a panel with your public booking link, a copy button and Open booking page. If the page isn't ready to share yet, the label carries a short state:

  • Off: the page isn't live, so nobody can book you. Choosing it offers to open your booking page settings.
  • No services: the page is on, but there's nothing on it to book. Choosing it offers to create a service.

That middle state catches a lot of people. A booking page with no published services is an empty shop with the lights on.

The badges in the sidebar

Two counters sit in the sidebar so you notice them from any page: Inquiries, showing how many you haven't opened yet, and Messages, showing unread replies. Both stop at 99+.

What Home is not

Home is a what needs doing now screen, not a reporting tool. It won't show you last quarter's revenue or how a particular client has spent over two years.

For that, go to Reports → Finance.
