Client experience
Here's what your gallery feels like from the other side, once your client opens the link. You decide which of these tools are available in your gallery settings.
Getting in and browsing
Depending on your settings, your client may pass through a welcome screen first, entering a password or their email. After that, they land on your branded cover and can browse.
They move through your chapters using the chapter navigation and scroll your photos in a clean grid. Tapping any photo opens it full-screen.
Building collections
If you allow it, clients can gather their favorite photos into collections to send back to you.
- Each photo has a star. Clicking it adds the photo to the active collection.
- The My Collections panel shows everything they've picked.
- They can create named collections, add notes, and then submit them to you.
When a client submits a collection, you're notified. If you've chosen to lock collections after submission, it becomes read-only once it's sent.
Hiding photos
If you've turned this on, clients can hide photos they'd rather their guests didn't see. Hidden photos stay visible to the client, and you can review them in the Activity tab.
Slideshow and sharing
If you've enabled them, clients can:
- Play a full-screen slideshow of the gallery
- Share the gallery to social media
A note on saving photos
Photos in the gallery are protected from casual right-click saving and dragging. If you want your clients to keep copies, turn on downloads. See Downloads for how that works.
