Merging Clients
Sometimes you end up with two records for the same person. CoreHue lets you merge them.
How it works
Pick a survivor (the record that stays) and a donor (the one being merged in).
Here's what happens:
- All linked records move to the survivor. Every booking, invoice, contract, gallery, and questionnaire that was linked to the donor now points to the survivor.
- Missing info gets filled in. If the survivor is missing a phone number but the donor has one, it copies over. The survivor's existing info is never overwritten.
- Tags are combined. Duplicates removed.
- Notes are combined.
- Revenue is added together per currency.
- The donor is deleted.
Things to know
- Both clients must belong to your account.
- The merge happens all at once, so everything stays consistent.
- You'll see a "Client merged" entry in the survivor's activity timeline.
- Address info copies as a complete block (not individual fields).
