Services

A service is one thing you offer, like a wedding package, a portrait session, or a holiday mini day. Each service has its own price, schedule, and booking flow, and shows up as a card on your booking page.

Create a service​

From the Services page, click New service and fill in:

  • Name: what clients will see, like Family Portrait Session.
  • Category: Wedding, Portrait, Event, Commercial, Video, or Other. Picking Other lets you type a custom name.
  • Booking mode: Inquiry, Self-service, or Mini sessions. This sets how clients book.

A couple of fields depend on the mode you pick:

  • Inquiry asks for a Type: Event or Session. This can't be changed later.
  • Self-service asks for a Session duration in minutes (15 minimum).
  • Mini sessions asks for a Slot duration: 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45, or 60 minutes.

You need a default currency set before you can create a service. If you're already at your plan's active-service limit, creating a new one is blocked until you deactivate one or upgrade.

The edit form​

Once a service exists, you build it out across four tabs.

Details​

Your service's name, category, and Description. This is also where you set the URL Slug (the service's own web address), upload a Cover image, and choose a Cancellation policy (for self-service and mini services).

Turn on Feature this service to pin it to the top of your booking page.

Pricing​

How much the service costs. The currency is fixed to the service and shown here.

  • Self-service uses a single Price per session.
  • Inquiry lets you set a price type: Fixed price, Starting at, Per hour, or Custom quote (where no fixed number is shown).
  • Mini sessions sets a Price per session per slot, plus the Max spots per slot (1–50).

Self-service services can also turn on Allow multi-slot bookings for back-to-back sessions, with a pricing tier for each length. See Packages & add-ons for optional extras and tiers.

Scheduling​

Where and when the service happens. Set the Location mode (a fixed venue, your service locations, virtual, in-person or virtual, or client-provided), and add Video Conferencing for virtual sessions.

By default a service uses your main hours, but you can choose Use custom schedule to give it its own hours, buffer, notice, and booking window. See Availability. For mini sessions, you manage your dates here too.

Client journey​

Everything the client touches:

  • Packages and Add-ons: your pricing tiers and optional extras. See Packages & add-ons.
  • Pricing guide: a client-facing pricing page for inquiry services. See Pricing guides.
  • Service Questionnaire: an intake form shown during booking.
  • Information we collect: choose whether to ask for a phone number, extra notes, or how they heard about you.
  • Contract Template: a contract clients sign in the flow.
  • Payment: collect a deposit or full payment.
  • Confirmation message: a custom thank-you clients see at the end.

Cover image and slug​

Your Cover image is the photo on the service's card and saves the moment you add it. The URL Slug is the end of the service's link (…/book/your-slug). You can edit it using lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens, and CoreHue checks it's available as you type.

Currency is fixed​

Each service's currency is locked once set. On Pro you can use a different currency per service; otherwise every service uses your one default currency.

Booking mode is permanent​

You can change almost anything about a service later, but not its booking mode. If you need a different mode, create a new service.

Publish and unpublish​

A new service starts unpublished and shows an Unpublished pill in your list. Open the service menu and choose Publish service to make it live on your booking page, or Unpublish service to take it down without deleting it.

Each card in your list shows the cover (or an initial), the name, a featured star, and the category, duration, and price.

Delete a service​

Choose Delete service from the menu to remove it for good. Past bookings, leads, and proposals keep their history, but they lose their link to the service, and the service's packages, mini-session dates, and locations are removed. This can't be undone.
